In 2017, Austie was juggling the demands of teaching high school English and raising a young family when she rediscovering her passion for writing. As she immersed herself in the Instagram poetry community, a transformative journey was blooming. Among her fellow writers, Austie found a sense of peace and belonging, reigniting her creative spirit.
In 2018, during a particularly difficult year, Austie decided to take a leap of faith; quitting her job as an English teacher and jumping into publishing with both feet!
A.B.Baird Publishing was born of a dream to help others achieve their dreams.
Since our debut, A.B.Baird has been on a whirlwind adventure, teaming up with countless authors from every corner of the globe. Together, we've crafted enchanting anthologies and put out incredible standalone poetry books that captivate hearts and minds. And guess what? We're just getting started!
